The new "Hunter" supercomputer marks a powerful and sustainable advance in Europe's computing infrastructure. Hunter works almost twice as fast as its predecessor and saves up to 80% energy thanks to innovative liquid cooling and dynamic power limitation. It combines high-performance computing with AI training, for example by the Stuttgart-based start-up Seedbox.ai, which is already developing multilingual AI models on Hunter.
